Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On June 28th at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the 100th anniversary celebration of Istanbul's "Zhamanak" newspaper took place, presided over by His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians. Also present at the ceremony were the President of the Republic of Armenia's chief of staff, Vigen Sargsyan, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Armenia, Hasmik Poghosyan, the monks of the Mother See, prominent figures from the fields of education and culture, and lecturers and students of the Gevorkian Theological Seminary.
