UNESCO World Heritage Cities Delegation in the Mother See

On 8 October, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received a delegation from the UNESCO Organization of World Heritage Cities (OWHC). The OWHC consists of representatives and city officials from the cities of Rhodes, Bordeaux , Kitoo, Wienna, Quebec, Etchmiadzin and other cities throughout the world. At the meeting His Holiness spoke on challenges in preserving Armenian monuments outside of Armenia and the efforts being taken to resolve those issues.
