The Red Gospel in the Hovhannavank Monastery

The Red Gospel is kept in the house of the Karapetyans family living in Yerevan, and they voluntarily bring it to Hovhannavank every year on Red Sunday. The family inherited the Holy Gospel from their grandfather Karapet, who served as a monk in the Holy Apostles Monastery of Mush.
