“Dear Pious Faithful, Great Lent has begun. We have entered the period of Great Lent with the pain of the tragedy of the war that has befallen us in our souls. Many of our children died heroically in the war of Artsakh, for our right to live freely and independently, and we lost a significant part of the land of Artsakh. These tragic events were in part due to a lack of Christ’s love, disunity, lack of vigilance against internal and external security and threats, and the weakening of the zeal to be united around national values…”- it is stated in the message, in part.
