The meeting of the International Commission of the Eastern Orthodox and Anglican Churches was held at the Mother See

28.10.2024

The dialogue between the Anglican and Eastern Orthodox churches began about 25 years ago. The work of the Inter-Christian Commission began in 2002, and the first meeting was again in Holy Etchmiadzin, with the blessing of the Patriarch of All Armenians, Karekin II. In this era of ecumenism, i.e. inter-church connections, the heads of churches emphasize the steps towards unity.
