Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

The Holy Cross Church of Aparan dates back to the 4th century. It is a three-nave basilica built with Aparan black tuff. The church is also known as the Kasagh Basilica because it is located near the Kasagh River. The pastor of the church, Fr. Virap Ghazaryan. It was thoroughly renovated in 2001. by Shaklyan and Nahikyan family.
