As a rule, in the Armenian Apostolic Church Tabernacle holidays are preceded by days of storage. The fast of the Christmas holiday begins with the evening service of December 29 and ends the day before the Christmas holiday, January 5, with the Candlelight Liturgy, when the news of Christ's Christmas is given.
