The Scientific Board is the governing body of the Gevorkian Theological Seminary, and the President is the Catholicos of All Armenians. Essentially, it is the return to the old tradition, when the Head of the Educational Department of the Seminary, founded in 1874, was also the Catholicos of All Armenians.
