The Armenian Church in Jrashen Village

17.10.2012

The St. Nshan Church, built in 1884, in the Jrashen community of Spitak, is currently collapsed and not operating. The church was used for military storage during the years of the Soviet Union, and was completely ruined after the earthquake in Spitak in 1988. The villagers have numbered the stones of this house of prayer and kept them with the expectation of future renovation of the Church.
