Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On March 17, in the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin, Divine-Liturgy was celebrated on the ocassion of the Sunday of Advent. The Sixth Sunday of Great Lent is called the Sunday of Advent. The message of this Sunday is a call for endurance, piety and modesty. Through these we can patiently wait for the Glorious Resurrection of Christ. This Sunday teaches us about the first Advent of Christ and also it symbolizes the Second Advent as is stated in the Gospels.
