St. Sarkis Church of Feodosiya, Ukraine

The 11th century St. Sarkis Church of Feodosiya, Ukraine, was closed during the 1920s. The church is well known as the final resting place of the world famous artist, Hovhannes (Ivan) Aivazovsky. According to his wishes, his tomb is in the courtyard of the church. St. Sarkis Church and grounds have been re-opened to the public.
