02.10.2012
St. John's Church in Shush, built in 1818, was also called the Green Hour, because the dome of the church was painted green. After the establishment of the Soviet regime, the prayer house ceased to function and until the liberation of Shushi, the church was used by Azerbaijanis as a health resort. The church has been operating since 1995. Currently, the church is being renovated and it is planned to finish it by the end of the year.
