Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

Today, instead of several churches operating in the past, there are 45 prayer houses in Javakhk. However, the number of clergy is still not enough for full service. There are only 8 priests in 7 regional centers and 132 villages of Javakhk. Youth associations, cultural and educational councils operate alongside the leadership vicarage, and Armenian language, literature and Armenian history courses are organized in Armenian schools and churches.
