Service of Ordination for the Minor Orders-2014.01

On December 23, on the eve of the Feast day of St. Stephen the Proto-Deacon and First Martyr of the Church; the service of ordination for the minor orders of sub-deacon, acolyte and stole bearer was offered at the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin. 40 students from the Gevorkian Theological Seminary, from the Accelerated Priest Course, as well from the Diocese of Syunik, were granted the rank of sub-deacon and the students from the 2 and 4 levels of the Gevorkian Seminary were granted the rank of acolyte by His Grace Bishop Hovakim Manukyan, Primate of the Artik Diocese.
