Sanahin Monastery

The Republic of Armenia has allocated 18 million AMD for the renovation of the historic Sanahin Monastic complex. This year the roof of the Monastery will be renovated and reconstruction work will be undertaken starting in the Spring of 2013. In 1999 the Monastic Complex of Sanahin was registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, as a unique treasure created by man.
