Requiem Service in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin
On 21 October, 2012, Divine Liturgy was celebrated by His Grace Bishop Vahan Hovhannissian, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Great Britain; in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians. AGBU Central Committee members and philanthropists were in attendance. During the Divine Liturgy a requiem service was conducted for the rest of souls of His Holiness Karekin I, Catholicos of All Armenians, of blessed memory, His Beatitude Archbishop Torgom Manoogian; Patriarch of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem, AGBU Presidents of blessed memory and victims of recent Syrian military activities. Afterwards, the AGBU delegates visited the Old Pontifical Residence museusm and toured the reconstruction progress, which is being financed by Berge Setrakian; AGBU President.
