Replication of Destroyed Julfa Cross-Stones

Architect Varazdat Hambardzumyan together with his assistants, have prepared several cross-stones (khachkars) replications, copied from the vast treasure of khachkars that were destroyed in the historic Julfa cemetery, located in southern Nakhichevan (currently Azerbaijan Republic). The entire cemetery, a UNESCO world heritage site, containing several thousands khachkars, was completely eliminated by Azeri soldiers in 2005.
