On 28 December, a Pontifical Encyclical issued by His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, on the upcoming 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, was read during Divine Liturgy in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and in all Armenian churches.
