Pontiffs of the Armenian Apostolic and Syriac Orthodox Churches Pray for Peace

On October 12 during the celebration of Divine Liturgy in the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin, a prayer for peace in the Middle East was offered by the heads of two Sister Churches; His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians; and His Holiness Mor Ignatius Ephrem II, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East. The same day His Holiness Karekin II received the President of the Republic of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic, who was in Armenia for an official state visit.
