Pilgrimage Day Mother Cathedral of St. Gregory the Illuminator of Yerevan

This year on July 9, the Holy Armenian Apostolic Church celebrated the feast of the Discovery of the Relics of the Father of our faith - St. Gregory the Illuminator. By Pontifical Encyclical of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, this day has been proclaimed as a pilgrimage day for the St. Gregory the Illuminator Mother Cathedral of Yerevan. In honor of this occasion the symbolic light of the lamp of St. Gregory the Illuminator was taken to the Mother Cathedral from the Khor Virap Monastery, and a Divine Liturgy was celebrated.
