Pilgrimage Day Geghard Monastery

The Feast of the Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ was proclaimed as a pilgrimage day for the Geghard Monastery, by His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians. On this occasion, the Holy Lance (Geghard) was brought from the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin to the monastery, for the faithful to receive blessings from the sacred relic.
