Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On September 02, a peace, unity, and solidarity march was held by the initiative of the “Youth” public organization. The march was prompted in response to the recent incidents on the Armenian-Azerbaijan contactline as well the attacks on the peaceful population in Northern Iraq. Peacekeeping forces of the Armenian Army, clergymen, and members of the Youth Unions of the Armenian Church participated in the march. At the conclusion of the peace march a Repose of Souls service was offered by His Eminence Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan, Primate of Araratian Pontifical Diocese at the St.Sarkis Church of Yerevan.
