Opening of the Doors Service

On the evening of Palm Sunday, the Opening of the Door service was offered in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II Catholicos of All Armenians. The Opening of the Doors service marks the end of Great lent and the beginning of Holy Week. It also symbolizes the restoration of relations between man and God.
