New Library and Manuscript Repository at the Mother See

A new building to house the library and manuscript repository (Matenadaran) has been completed on the grounds of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The benefactors of the Matenadaran are Mr. & Mrs. Vatche and Tamar Manoukian of London England. The Matendaran is undergoing furnishing and insallation of equipment. It will be the main library of the Mother See and will also contain and display the manuscript collection of the Armenian Church. The new building is scheduled to be opened this fall.
