Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

The Monday following any of the five major Tabernacle Feasts of the Armenian Church, are recognized as days of remembrance. On August 13, the day following the Feast of the Assumption of the Holy Virgin Mary, a Memorial Liturgy was offered in all Armenian churches. At the end of the Holy Liturgy a requiem service was held.
