06.03.2013

The 24th day of Great Lent, is called Median Day (Mijink) which symbolizes that the first half of Great Lent has passed. On that day special hymns are sung at the conclusion of the Peace Service. According to tradition, an unleavened cake is prepared with a coin baked inside. The current year will be successful for the member of the family who finds the coin in his/her portion. This year the Mediian Day is on March 6th.
