On October 15, the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia celebrated its 70th anniversary. The event was attended by His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, Mr. Serj Sargsyan, President of the Republic of Armenia, delegates from different countries and academicians. On this solemn occasion the President awarded several members of the National Academy with state medals for their considerable contributions made in the field of science and education.
