Makaravanq: new life, new perspectives

Makaravanq (monastery of Makar) is situated near Achajur village in Tavush region. Diocese of Tavush (Armenian Apostolic Church) organized tree planting on the territory of the monastery. Now the monastery is acting, some renovations were done, new altar was built. The holy liturgies, rituals and ceremonies are taking place in the monastery, which has already its clergyman.
