January 29, 2015 was the opening of the newly built Komitas Museum and Institute, at the Komitas State Pantheon in Yerevan. His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians; His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia; President Serzh Sargsyan, of the Republic of Armenia and other state officials were in attendance for the ceremony.
