International Consultation on Crisis in Syria

On June 11, under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, and with the attendance of Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, of Armenia, a two day international consultation on "Crisis in Syria: Challenges for Faith Communities" was convened in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, in collaboration with the World Council of Churches. Attending the consultation were representatives of Christian Churches from the World Council of Churches, Near East, Syria, Russia, various European countries and the USA.
