On the nave of the church built in the administrative center of Voronezh region, Archbishop Yezras blessed the crosses, bells, 16 pillars and the baptismal font of the church dome and belfry. The diocesan primate blessed the Holy Altar and offered the first Divine Liturgy. The church was named after the military commander Saint Sargis. 50,000 Armenians live in Voronezh region.
