Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

In the Armenian Apostolic Church, the period from the Palm Sunday up to the Glorious Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ is called Holy Week. The week depicts the history of our Lord Jesus Christ's teachings during the last seven days of his earthly life - afflictions, death and resurrection. This year it begins on April 13 and will end on the evening of April 19 with the celebration of a Candlelight Divine Liturgy.
