Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

The Monastery of Harij, (or Harijavank), is a 7th century Armenian monastery located near the village of Harij in northern Armenia in the Shirak province. It was one of the distinguished and important spiritual and cultural centers of medieval Armenia. In 2012 after 120 years interval with the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, the high school has been renovated for use and reopened under the auspices of the Mother See.
