Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

Good Friday is the day of commemoration of Christ's Torments Crucifixion, Death and Burial. Services commemorating the Crucifixion and Burial of Jesus Christ are offered in all Armenian churches throughout the world on. In Holy Etchmiadzin, the symbolic Tomb of Christ is decorated with flowers and processed to the Open Air Alter of the Mother See, with the clergy and faithful following in procession.
