Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

Good Friday is the day of commemoration of Christ's Torments, Crucifixion, Death and Burial. Services commemorating the Crucifixion and Burial of Jesus Christ are offered in all Armenian churches. On this occasion in the Mother See , the symbolic Tomb of Christ, decorated with flowers, is carried around the Mother Cathedral, with the clergy and faithful following in procession.
