Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

Good Friday is the day of commemoration of Christ's Torments, Crucifixion, Death and Burial. The service recalling the burial of Jesus Christ is offered in Armenian Churches throughout the world on Holy (Good) Friday. In Holy Etchmiadzin, the symbolic Tomb of Christ covered with flowers is carried around the outside of the church, with the clergy in procession.
