Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

Good Friday is the day of commemoration of Christ's Torments, Crucifixion, Death and Burial. The service commemorating the burial of Jesus Christ is offered in Armenian Churches throughout the world on Holy (Good) Friday. In Holy Etchmiadzin, the symbolic Tomb of Christ is covered with flowers and processed around the outside of the church, with the clergy and faitfhul following in procession.
