Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On February 14 the Armenian Church celebrated the Feast of the Presentation of Our Lord Jesus Christ to the Temple. In the Mother Cathedral, Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Reverend Father Zakaria Baghumyan, and a special blessing service for newlywed couples was offered. On February 13, a pre-feast service was offered in the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin . HH Karekin II, offered the service of blessing the four corners of the world (Andastan). The Andastan Service was followed by the ceremony of the lighting of the traditional fire.
