Feast of the Naming of Our Lord Jesus Christ-2016

On January 13, the Armenian Church celebrated the Feast Day of the Naming of Our Lord Jesus Christ. According to Jewish tradition, the infant Jesus was circumcised and given a name. On the Feast of Naming of Our Lord Jesus Christ, a Divine Liturgy is celebrated in all Armenian Churches. In the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin the celebrant was His Grace, Bishop Hovnan Hakobyan, Grand Sacristan of the Mother See.
