Feast of the Holy Translators in Oshakan

On 13 October, 2012 on the Feast of the Holy Translators, a pilgrimage was conducted to the St. Mesrop Mashtots Church in Oshakan in the Diocese of Aragatsotn. Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the Mother Cathedral. On this occasion the "Shukhonts" Holy Gospel (circa 1669) was taken from the Mesrop Mashtots Manuscript Repository in Yerevan and transported to Oshakan. According to tradition, the annual "Kantegh" literary prize was awarded during a public event.
