Feast of the Holy Transfiguration of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Mother See

On July 28, the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrated Feast of the Holy Transfiguration of Our Lord Jesus which is the third among the five tabernacle feasts. In all churches Divine Liturgy was solemnly celebrated. In the Mother See under the ringing of the bells and accompanied by the Brotherhood of the Mother See, His Holiness was led to the St. Gayane Monastery. According to the tradition, His Holiness sprayed on faithful people a rose water symbolizing purity and hope.
