Feast of the Holy Nativity and Theophany of our Lord Jesus Christ in the Indian-Armenian Community
On January 6th, on the occasion of the Feast of the Holy Nativity and Theophany of our Lord Jesus Christ, Rev. Fr. Movses Sargsyan, Spiritual Pastor of India, offered a Divine Liturgy. Following which the Blessing of the Water Service was offered and the blessed water was distributed to the faithful. The ‘Godfather of the cross’ of the Blessing of the Water was Mr. Vatchagan Tadevosyan, administrative member of the Holy Nazareth Armenian church. On January 13th, on the occasion of the Feast of Naming of our Lord Jesus Christ, a Divine Liturgy was offered in the St. John the Baptist Armenian Church in Chinsurah. On this occasion, the relic of the Holy Right Hand of St. John the Baptist was taken from the Holy Nazareth Armenian Church of Kolkata.
