Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross at the Mother See-2016

On September 11, the Armenian Church solemnly celebrated Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin, and the celebrant was His Grace Bishop Vahan Hovhannisyan. Following evening services, a relic of the Holy Cross, decorated with basil and other flowers, was processed on the grounds of the Mother See. The Service of Andastan (Blessing of the four corners of the world) was offered following the procession.
