Feast of the Assumption of the Holy Mother of God in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On August 16, the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church celebrated the Feast of the Assumption of the Holy Virgin Mary. On this festive Day, a Divine Liturgy was offered at the St. Trdat Open Air Altar of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The Celebrant was His Grace Bishop Mushegh Babayan, Director of Operations Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
Following the Divine Liturgy, under the Presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, the Pontiff of All Armenians; a service of Blessing of the Grapes was offered at the St. Trdat Open Air Altar. At the end of the service, blessed grapes were distributed to faithful people.
