Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Mother See-2016

On 05 May, the Armenian Church celebrated the Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord Jesus Christ. On this occasion, Divine Liturgy was celebrated in all Armenian churches. In the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin the celebrant was His Eminence Archbishop Yeznik Petrosyan. At the conclusion of Divine Liturgy, a Pontifical Prayer was offered, commemorating the return of the See of the Catholicosate of All Armenians to Holy Etchmiadzin in 1441. His Holiness Karekin II,Catholicos of All Armenians presided over the Service.
