Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord Jesus Christ in The Mother See

On 14 May, the Armenian Church celebrated the Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord Jesus Christ. On this occasion a solemn Divine Liturgy was celebrated in all Armenian churches. In the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin the celebrant was His Grace Bishop Hovnan Hakobyan, Grand Sacristan of the Mother See. Following the Divine Liturgy, a special Prayer Service was offered in commemoration of the relocation in 1441 of the Catholicosate of All Armenians to Holy Etchmiadzin.
