Feast of the Ascension in the Mother See

On 30 May, the Armenian Church celebrated the Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord Jesus Christ. On this occasion, Divine Liturgy was celebrated in all Armenian churches. In the St. Gayane Monastery of the Mother See; the celebrant was His Very. Rev. Fr. Supreme Archimandrite Shahe Ananyan. At the conclusion of Divine Liturgy, a Pontifical Prayer was offered, commemorating the return of the See of the Catholicosate of All Armenians to Holy Etchmiadzin in 1441.
