Feast of the Apparition of the Holy Cross Celebrated in the Mother See

On May 18 Armenian Church celebrated the feast of the Apparition of the Holy Cross. On this occasion, Divine Liturgy was celebrated in all Armenian churches. The feast is dedicated to the Apparition of the Holy Cross spanning from the Mount of Olives (where Christ was betrayed and arrested) to Golgotha (where Christ was crucified) in Jerusalem in 351. In the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin the celebrant was Very Rev. Fr. Kuregh Davtyan.
