Feast of St. Thaddeus and St. Bartholomew in the Mother See-2014

On November 29, the Armenian Church celebrated the Feast of the Apostles St. Thaddeus and St. Bartholomew. Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin. On this occasion, the Holy Lance was taken to the Mother Cathedral and the faithful had the opportunity to kiss the Holy Lance and receive blessings from it. During the Holy Service the Feast was declared as a pilgrimage day of the Holy Lance; by Pontifical Encyclical of His Holiness Karekin II Catholicos of All Armenians.
