Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On May 28, the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrated the Feast of the Deliverance of St. Gregory the Illuminator from the Pit. On this occasion the relics of St. Gregory the Illuminator were solemnly taken from the Mother See to the Khor Virap Monastery where Divine Liturgy was celebrated. Many pilgrims throughout Armenia were in attendance to revere this event.
